The project named DubFiles was born in 2013 and initially just consisted in a series of YouTube videos documenting the activities of the Alambic Conspiracy Studio. The Italian producer Paolo Baldini was creating dub versions of his team's productions while several singers were busy on the mic singing alternate versions on those riddims.

Hundred of thousands of views later, time came to properly gather all these videos and productions in an album. Singers Jacob, L.O. and Jules I from Mellow Mood, Forelock and Sr. Wilson were among the first singers to accompany Baldini during his live performances. Portuguese superstar Richie Campbell, Australian musician Dub Fx and British rapper Rawz also appear as special guests.

DubFiles is a celebration of the countless collaborations between Jamaican deejays and producers, and therefore maintains a heavy analog approach to sound and effects. Baldini displays his mixing skills in an album which bears witness to the prolific activity of the Italian producer and his team.
